I think one aspect of the lack of adoption of MBE can be traced to a false assumption that drawings are obsolete. Models and drawings should work together to create an understanding of the scope of work involved in a project. This doesn't mean the drawings have to be on paper but they can be used in other ways to enhance the understanding of a 3D model.
