IMSI says that over 70% of their revenue comes from CAD and graphics products. IMSI now offers the following graphics tools:

    Tech Q&A

Maybe readers can help us. We have the Sony CD-ROM Diskman, which is a portable CD player with integrated SCSI electronics. It works well with notebook computers (plugs into the PCMCIA slot), except for one situation: when running on batteries, the CD-ROM shuts itself off after about five minutes -- even if the computer is in the middle of reading a file! We've tried Sony's Web site, but no help there. Anyone figure this one out?

    Notable Quotable

"A note to any Microsoft employee: In Microsoft Internet Explorer, it never tells the size of the program that you're downloading. Even if it KNOWS the size of the program, it still won't tell you; it will only tell you the amount of time that is left, and it's often wrong, AND more than likely it can't figure out the size of the program, even if Netscape can. You should fix this, and you should use it as an excuse to further delay the release of Windows 98."
